Hjælp med rettelser

Vi har læst Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy og vi har fået til opgave at skrive et extra kapitel. Jeg kunne godt bruge en til at rette den. Jeg havde ikke lige en ordbog ved hånen, så der et par ord jeg ikke lige kunne finde. Håber der en der vil hjælpe mig.


Chapter 36

Arthur did not know what to expect with his new life. He was really existed and was looking forward to his new life in the universe. His life on earth was not much to talk about anyway. This life should be the beginning of something good and new.
“Ford” said Arthurs voice.
“yes, what now” answered Ford while he was lying on the couch in the end of the Heart of gold with a beer in his hand.
“What is the plan?” said Arthur
“The plan?” said Ford
“Yes, for the future. We’re going to the Restaurant at the end of the universe, and then…?” he said
“I don’t know, do we really need a plan for everything we do, we just take it as it comes, right?”
“ I guess”
While they were speaking Zadhod interrupted.
“It’s time to get ready, we’re almost there.” He said
It only took twenty minutes to get up there and they began to land. Marvin had been sleeping and woke up really upset.
“I do not want to go in there again, and you know it Zaphod?” Marvin yelled
“What the hell are you talking about?” Zaphod answered quickly
“You know I don’t like that place. The sevitress was staring at me the last time. She does not like me!”
“And so what? I know everybody loves me, but who is like me. We’re going in there and you can stay here if you don’t want to come? Said Zadhod
“I have bigger problem than eating, I stay here” said Marvin
The four of them went into the restaurant, and looked around. Arthur had never seen anything like this. Aliens, Dentrassis, vogons and Marsmen at one place! They were stopped by a little vogon.
“Have you ordered a table for tonight?” said the little Vogon.
Zaphod steeped forward, and he raised his voice.
“Do you know who I am?”
“No, I have never seen you before”
“I’m the president of the universe, your idiot.”
“Me really really sorry, you can eat here for free”
The little Vogon showed them the finest table in the restaurant and they sat down.
Arthur looked at the menu. But did not know one single thing and looked at Trillian. She looked more confused than Arthur and they both looked at Zaphod.
“What? Have you never seen a menu before? Said Zaphod
“I have, but what is this, an eyeball from a enhjort, an elephant food and a tushoh, and what is a tushoh by the way?”
“A Tushod, it is the most common animal on the planet Margerita. It is like a bird. Isn’t what you call it?
“Okay, that makes more sense”
Arthur and Trillian ordered an elyeball from a enhjort. They said it tasted really nice, but the expression on their face said the opposite. It was time to move on. They were all full, and walked back to the aircraft.
They were ready to leave the planet, but while starting the engine Trillian came running.
“Where is Marvin?”
“I have not seen him?” Said Arthur.
“Why does this always happen. I looked for him four times last year. He is supposed to be my helper, not my baby. But I guess we have to look after him” Zaphod said.
“He must be around. We have only been away for an hour.” Trillian said.
They went outside again to find Marvin. Zaphod said that he usually went to the ice-cream shop to trøstespise. But Zaphod had no idea where the closest ice cream shop was. They walked down every single street in the town to find him. But he was nowhere to be found. They started to walk back to the aircraft and walked down a street they had never seen before. Just as Zaphod has said, Marvin was sitting on a bench in front of an ice cream shop.
“Where the hell have you been? We have looked all over town for you” Zaphod said
“I don’t feel like talking right now” Marvin answered depressed
“All right, but we are leaving now, get your bout on the craft now”.
All five of them went back on the aircraft. Zaphod and Ford started the engine and they were ready to leave. Ford was as always in a good mute and challenged Arhtur in a drinking game.
“Come on, $50 to the winner”
“I don’t know, I guess that we could do it. We have not much to do anyway” Arthur said
Ford poured four beers:
“Two for each, 3, 2, 1 GO!”
“Come on Arthur. You are way behind”. Said Zaphod.
“19 sec for two beers, I think that is a new record, my brother.”
Arthur was not even done with his first beer. Trillian thought it was kind of stupid, and wanted to get moving. But had no idea where to go. Ford had been talking about visiting his parent for over a year.
“I have not seen my parents for over two years, so shouldn’t we get the aircraft moving?”
“Sure” said Zaphod
Fords mother was like any other mother, she called 24/7 and asked when he was going to visit them. But Ford was like any other son, he was always busy. Zaphod change direction and was heading straight against the planet of Tulsa. It is a small planet. The diameter is only 40.000 km wide. Maybe three or four times bigger than earth, but that is not much in the universe.
“When are we there?” Trillian asked
“We should be there within 5 minutes” said Zaphod.
The aircraft landed right in front of their house. It was a shiny old house and took less than a minute before Fords mother came out and hugged him.
“How have you been, my son?
His father steps out of door with a beer in his hand.
“What’s going on my son? Do you want a beer with your old dad?”
Arthur now understood where his drinking problem came from. But after all they seemed like nice people.
“I’m great. This is my friends Zaphod, Arthur, Trillian and Marvin.” Said Ford
“Come on inside” said Fords mother, whose name is Joanna by the way.
They all stepped into the house. It looked cozy, but the dinner table was full of empty beer bottles.
“Sorry about the mess, guys” said Joanna
“That’s find, the aircraft is not that clean either” said Trillian
After the delicious dinner Fords dad was ready for some fun.
“Why don’t we go to my pub and you can meet my buddies?”
“I don’t feel like going out tonight” said Marvin quietly from the back corner.
“When do you actually feel like having fun?!. Of cause we want to go out and have some fun with you tonight, dad.” Said Ford
Marvin stayed back at the house and talked about his feelings with Joanna. While the boys and Trillian went to the nearest pub. Right as John said, all his buddies were sitting at the table in the corner. John is Fords dad, if you haven’t figured that out.
“Hi John, who is your fellows? Said one of the guest
“It is my son, can’t you see it? He has grown a bit since you saw him last time”
“Yeaah, I can see it now, come here and have drink with us.”
They sat down at the table and were served four five cold beers.
Ford and his dad was talking about the good old times and during the night the atmosphere got better and better and it was time to taste the liquor of the planet.

“5 tjuko, my friend” John said
“I would rather go home, Ford, I don’t feeeel… good.” Arthur said
“Come on, hang on”
“I don’t fell that good either, we should get back to the aircraft”
“Okay, I’ll stay here for a couple of days. You can just go back to the aircraft, and then you can pick me up in a couple of days” Ford said.
“That is cool. See you in a couple of days” Zaphod said
After saying goodbye to Fords mother and father they went back to the house and picked Marvin up. After his first day at the planet Tulsa Arthur and Trillian were really tired and went straight to bed, while Zaphod was controlling the aircraft out to universe.
