Postmodernism is circlet around a showdown against the modernism ideals. And a demolition of the traditional things and norms. You can in this post modern world say that: “ anything goes.”. And some of the characteristics thing for the post modern literature is that, it often contains many opportunities and almost everyone pursues for something more. And its boat they high and lower placed in the society how pursues, but it’s just something different that they pursues after. The lower part of the society pursue after, that the higher part has, and the higher part for something even better. And a second thing are that people how lives in the post modern society, thinks too much at the past and the future, and therefore they forget to live in the moment. And peoples identity is also a subject how is very important, and people often deals with a split identity.
2) Comment on the structure language and theme in one or two of the short stories we have read.
We have for example read “Bag lady,”, that deals with a very confused lady, how loses her identity quiet and steady. This bag lady is very confused and panics, which also are typical for the post modernistic way of writing. The main theme in this story is that she gets very confused and can’t find her self in this new situation, and therefore she loses bit by bit, some of her identity. In the post modern world some scientist says that people haven’t been to culture free, like now. That’s would say that people have an even better chance for create their own identity and live. You can say that identity has become people’s life project, and it can be changed through your entire life. So almost in every story, they deals with the identity. So the main theme in the “Bag lady”, is also the identity and being in a new and different place, where you have to fit in.
The language in a typical post modern story is also a bit of confusing and

ok.... prøv hellere med:
Postmodernism encircles an encounter between the modern ideals and a demolition of the traditional things and norms. You can in this post-modern world say that, "anything goes". Some of the characteristics of post-modern litterature is the fact that it often contains many opportunities and almost everyone pursue something more. It is both the higher and lower parts of society that pursue but the things they pursue are different. The lower part of society crave for the things in high society, and the higher part of society wants something even better (or more basic things??). A second thing is that people who live in he post-modern society think too much about the past and future andt therefore forget to live in the present. The identity of the post-morden people is also a subject of high importance - people often deal with torn identitys.
Ellers nogle gode tanker (:
