Comment on the children’s motives for threatening to shoot.
I actually think that these children have strangles reasons for threatening to shoot somebody. An example is an 11-years-old boy, in Phoenix, who was threatening to shoot a teacher’s tape player and then the teacher, just because he does not like the music. After my opinion, it is one of the most stupid reason for kill someone, I ever heard. Another 11-years-old child in Higley Arizona threatened to kill the girl he liked, and the boy who kissed her. In fact, he said to the police that he was only kidding, and he took the idea from news reports, which is a cool argument in my opinion. However, the police do not have to take every word so seriously like that. When somebody is angry and freak out, they just say something without thinking about it, at that moment. But the most important and generally reason for threatening to shoot somebody is when the friends victimizes and offends someone. I also think that the family enters into it. Maybe because they do not support the child or they do not care with him and so on. Therefore, when the child thinks about killing somebody, I really think that the parents have to take the blame for it at any rate. The child is their responsibility and they have to bring the child up with self-confidence and courage.
