Hello office of admissions!
My name is Andreas, i'm 19 years old. I'm from Denmark, Copenhagen and i got Danish citizenry. I'm very much interested in heart surgery. I wrote a big assignment/report about it in my secondary school, which the teachers really appreciated.
I'm searching for some kind of information about the medical institute. It's quite different from the colleges and universities here. What I want to know is, that here in Denmark its a must to send the college diploma with your grade average in it, to the place you want an admission in. How is the system overthere? If I come from Denmark to the Medical Institute in Virginia, what will the needs or requirements be? I read about the fee, how about the place or hostel? When you get a person like me, from another country, in your institute do you then give those people a "start test/examination"?

Du kan heller ikke regne med at de ved hvad A og C står for, er det dine karatkerer i fagene?
"place or hostel?" Mener du accomodation?
Ellers skal du ikke tage det _så_ tungt, du skriver jo en uformel email og ikke en konkret ansøgning. Se hvad de siger og forhold dig så til det.
Men hvorfor vil du søge ind i USA i stedet for DK?

Jeg søger i USA fordi jeg er bedre tilpas med Engelsk end dansk. Men jeg skriver mailen og vil se svaret.. men har også søgt i DK. Dont worry :)

My name is Andreas and I am nineteen years old. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, and I am a Danish citizen. I am very interested in heart surgery. In my secondary school, I have written a major assignment on this topic, appreciated by my teachers.
I am searching for any kind of information about the medical institute. It seems to be rather different from universities in my country. In Denmark, it is essential to send your college diploma along with your grade card to the place of admission; hence I would like to know how the system is in the US? If I apply for the medical institute in Virginia, what are the requirements? I have read about the fee, but how about accommodation? When you admit a person like me, from another country, do you give those people an entrance examination?
