The story Miranda is about pregnancy in a young age.
Miranda, who is the main character in the story, becomes pregnant, the first time she slept with her boyfriend Michael. After that she is a hundred percent sure that she is pregnant, she calls her boyfriend and tell him that she's pregnant, because she wants to keep the baby, where after Michael talks about marriage and so on, without asking her whether she wants the baby or not.
After Miranda had talked with her boyfriend, she calls her parent and also tells them that she's pregnant. Her parent tell her that she needs to come home, so that they could talk about it, when Miranda comes home, Michaels, Miranda and the parent talk about pregnancy. Miranda's parents do not think that Miranda is ready to have a baby, because of her age and that's why they want Miranda to have an abortion and instead focus on her education. Where after the parent begin to talk about the consequence by having a baby, while Michael sits quietly and listen to Miranda's parent without saying a word. After Michael hears all the consequences that Miranda's parent just told, he switches his view on the pregnancy, he now also think that Miranda should get an abortion - without telling her. Miranda's parent and the boyfriend Michael don't help her, but instead they leave her alone - so that she loses her baby..
