Hej :) 

Håber der en, der vil læse og rette min lille opgave igennem, er specielt i tvivl om den sidste sætning, men kan ikke rigtig se problemet. 

 The Victorian Age (1837-1901) was named after the British Queen, Victoria. The era was an important part of the British history, because a lot of things changed in the years 1837 to 1901.
Victoria was only 18 years old, when she became Queen of England in 1937 and furthermore she is the monarch who until now has ruled the country for the period of time. Since Victoria was a little girl she has been aware of her social position and she didn’t treat her playmates very well.
Now a day we call the Victorian age for the beginning of Modern Times because of the Industrial Revolution. At lot of new and effective machines were developed in this period of time for example a machine that could produce steam power. With the Industrial Revolution followed the Urbanization, which wasn’t very positive. People started to move from the country to the cities, because they hoped to find a job and earn some money. But the Urbanization ended up in the cities getting over crowed. There were families who slept in Parks, because there wasn’t room for them.
But even tough some citizens lived under so terrible circumstances was Queen Victoria loved by her people and she still is an inspiration for modern politicians.
