Hey, mit SRP skal afleveres imorgen. Pls skriv hvis der er nogen fejl. Kommafejl? Anything?
This paper introduces the social classes in the nineteenth century and examines the possibility of mobility between the classes. First the industrial revolution is accounted for. It showed large radical changes in the beginning of the 19th century but nevertheless Jane Austen chose to put focus on the class division in the society in her novel Pride and Prejudice, which means there must have been dissatisfaction amongst the lower placed in the society. As sources the novels Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë are evaluated as sources reliable enough to tell about the early 19th century in England because of them being contemporary with. In an analysis of Pride and Prejudice it is figured that etiquette played at big part in the lives of the British people. The etiquette and other qualities were requested to be observed in the upper classes if one was not to be socially punished. And if people in the middle classes did not posses these demands it was possible but improbable for them to be able to move to the upper classes. Jane Austen did not care for these circumstances, therefore she criticised them in Pride and Prejudice. She valued marriages as cause of love rather than arranged marriages, and she did not find that differences of the classes should be an obstacle for love.

Hej :)
