Hej håber en har tid til lige at rette det igennem bare hurtigt. På forhånd tal. :) det haster rigtig meget.

Today it’s June the 22nd, and the ship Empire Windrush will bee an very important history in the United Kingdom. The ship arrived about 492 people from Jamaica to Tilbury, so the people can starts a new life here, after the second world war.

They immigrate from Jamaica today.
The people who immigrate, from Jamaica to UK today, talk English so it’s easy to talk with them. Some of the passengers, is Caribbean war veterans who chose to return, but the most of the people, have chosen to stay in UK.
We have been informed that the popular, Calypso singer named Lord Kithener, also was on board on the ship, and it seems that he is very pleased for England. Is said that he written a song where he praises England. We don’t now yet were the immigrants should live, but there has been talked about the new arrivals will be given temporary accommodation in the deep tube shelter on Clapham Common, which had previously been used as a bomb shelter and to house prisoners of war.

The passengers wants to work here and earn there own money, but is it so bad in Jamaica, that they cant work? and what they think about UK.? Are they happy to come her and get peace?. This question will be answered by a Caribbean family McCartney who came to UK today. I has spoken with the family witch consisting of a father, mother and two daughters, earlier today, they seems to be in good condition and accepting a interview .

The Interview with the Caribbean family.
- Has it been a long trip?
Yes it has been a very long trip, with many people and not at lot of place at the ship. but we do not complain. It’s worth.
- Are you glad that you have come to England?.
Mr. McCartney: I’m so happy that I came to England today, and that the English people are so kind. I haven’t expected that they would take so well against us.
- Why are you here?
Mr. McCartney: I and my family are here because we cant get a job in Jamaica, and everything is destroyed because of the second world war.
- What options do you have here?
Mr. McCartney: My options here are much better than in Jamaica, I can hopefully get a job and earn my own money here. And I can also provide my family better than I could in Jamaica. My two daughters can start in school and they can get an education.
- Do you have a strong national feeling?
Our national feeling isn’t so strong as well, because Jamaica isn’t the same as it has been once. Off course we still love Jamaica, and it will be hard for us to adapt ourselves in England, not least because of our colour. But we believe it all comes with the time.
Do you have any family back in Jamaica?.
Yes we have a lot of family and friends back in Jamaica for example, my woman’s mother and father is in Jamaica, they would not come with us to UK. They have very strong national feelings, and they have chosen to stay in Jamaica forever.

Do you think you ever return to Jamaica?
At the moment I don’t know. Right now we are happy to stay here, and we will focus to get a day to operate. I cant tell you what will happen about several years, maybe I’m still here and have a great job with a great wages. but maybe I’m back in Jamaica, and work in a field.
- Thank you very much for you kindness, and because you had time to us. I wish you all the best. And hopefully you will adapt very quickly.
Thank you very much.

This sounded so from the family McCartney who came here to England earlier today
It was very good to hear something about the family and their views on England and the English people. Where the immigrants have to live, where they will get support from and how it all will work, will you here more about the next few days.
