Dear Lizzie.
Good to hear from you again. I can see that you really love your new hobby – white water rafting. So I will love to tell you about my hobby.
My hobby is handball and I love to go to handball. I have played handball since I was six years old, but when I was six years old, it was not very serious, but just to have fun. Now when I am sixteen years, it has become more seriously, than it was before. The reason why I got interested in handball is because of my family. My whole family has been playing handball since there were small and they still play it. So in a way I have been caught by it because of my family.
Three times a week Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I train with my team. Every Sunday we play against other teams here in Denmark. Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday we train two hours but on Tuesdays are we training in a fitness center, where we do weight training.
We have teen girls on my team and we are all going in the same school. I think it is great that we are going on the same school, because then we know some other side of each other. Since we started to play handball, have we ten girls always been on a team together.
Handball means a lot to me, because it makes me happy. If I for example had a very bad day, I always know that I’m going to handball later and be together with some of the best people in my life and they can get me laugh and make my happy.
Here for a little while ago took my team to the Netherlands to play against other teams across Europe. We played 4 matches. We played against a Danish team, a Swedish team, a Norwegian, and a team from Africa. We won all our matches and came in the finale where we should meet a German team. It was a really exciting match because we scored many goals all the time, but it all went to our advantage so we won the final. It was a very big moment when we won, so everyone jumped around and rejoicing because everyone was so happy.
It was everything I wanted to tell you about my hobby. I hope you got enough knowledge about handball.
