Hejsa
Er der ikke nogen ad jer der lige er rigtig rigtig søde at læse min engelsk tekst igennem?

The Olympic games of 1992

The opening of the games was the most beautiful ever, a giant boat with 50-60 men was hauled through an ocean made by 7500 people in blue clothes. It was suppose to symbolise the Olympic idea’s arrival to Spain. An archer, who had participated in the handicap Olympics in Soul, lighted the firebowl. He sended an arrow precisely over the bowl an opened the Olympic games of 1992 in Barcelona. 100.000 spectators were there and 2 billion people saw the opening through their television. It was an amazing ceremony.
The games lasted 16 days, from the 25th of July until the 9th of August. In all there were 9367 participators, 169 countries were represented and 25 types of sports.
Not everyone was happy about Spain being the host for the Olympic games and they had already been turned down three times. But Sameranch’ the president of the I.O.C. (International Olympic Comity) insisted. Barcelona was his native town, and beside had Spain always been a reliable country. The election meant a lot for Barcelona. Large urban renewal was started. The railroad was removed and a new waterfront with big beach areas was created.
For the first time in history, the Olympics had three official languages. Spanish, French and Catalonic. All the speeches were held in all three languages.
The stadium was built in 1929 on a hill called Montjuic. Montjuic is 173 metres high and named by the Jews. The Jews lived there until 1490´s were they were driven away. The Olympics had never been placed far up before.
For the first time in twenty-eight years was South Africa represented. South Africa had been outside for so long because of their government’s apartheid politic. That they were represented was a victory, but still many people didn’t doubt that the white man was first in line to get the medal. Germany was also at the Olymics united as one nation.
When we visited the Olympic system in Barcelona, we didn’t really see anything. There wasn’t anything to see. Not even a brochure or something tourist-like. The stadium is now a place for sports arrangements, concerts or other events. There is not many signs or memories left from the big amazing Olympics.

Forhåbenlig mange tak

Her er mit forslag efter en hurtig gennemlæsning.

The Olympic games of 1992

The opening of the games was the most beautiful ever (seen.), a giant boat with (approximately) 50-60 men was hauled through an (artificial) ocean made (up) by 7500 people in blue clothes. It was suppose (d) to symbolise the Olympic idea’s arrival to Spain (mener der skal stå the arrival of the Olympic ida, 's bruges vist kun ved personer). An archer, who had participated in the handicap Olympics in Soul, lighted the firebowl. He sended (sent) an arrow precisely over the bowl an (and) opened the Olympic games of 1992 in Barcelona. 100.000 spectators were there (at stadium) and 2 billion people saw (watched) the opening through their television. It was an amazing ceremony.
The games lasted (for) 16 days, from the 25th of July until the 9th of August. In all (mener det hedder noget andet, måske totally) there were 9367 participators, 169 countries were represented and 25 types of sports (blev udøvet).
Not everyone was happy about Spain being the host for the Olympic games and they had already been turned down three times. But Sameranch’ (skal der være apostrof der ?) the president of the I.O.C. (International Olympic Comity) insisted. Barcelona was his native town, and beside had Spain (had) always been a reliable country. The election meant a lot for Barcelona. Large urban renewal was started. The railroad was removed and a new waterfront with big beach areas was created.
For the first time in history, the Olympics had three official languages. (:) Spanish, French and Catalonic. All the speeches were held in all three languages.
The stadium was built in 1929 on a hill called Montjuic. Montjuic is 173 metres high and named by the Jews. The Jews lived there until 1490´s (skal vist ikke være apostrof der) were (when) they were driven away. The Olympics had never been placed (this) far up before.
For the first time in twenty-eight years was South Africa (was) represented. South Africa had been outside for so long because of their government’s apartheid politic. That they were represented was a victory, but still many people didn’t doubt that the white man was first in line to get the medal (s ?). Germany was also at the Olymics united as one nation.
When we visited the Olympic system in Barcelona, we didn’t really see anything. There wasn’t anything to see. (gentagelse ?) Not even a brochure or something tourist-like. The stadium is now a place for sports arrangements, concerts or (and) other events. There is (are) not many signs or memories left from the big amazing Olympics.
