In this paper I have answered the problem formulation in a chronological way. First I have gone through the historical background for the Americanization of Europe. After that I bounded the paper to be only about the Americanization of the Danish politics and it's elections. At last I thought about some of the consequences of Americanization of Denmark and our values, language and the way we think both now and in the future. I have used empirical data and with the collection of this, I have been available to form a theory. I have used the inductive theory to form my assignment. I have reached the conclusion that Americanization is here for good whether we like or not. Through the last century, Europa and almost the rest of the world has been affected by the financial and military superpower. The most popular movies in the world are American, the most used computers are American, New York has turned into the fashion-capitol of the world and English is spoked all over the world, not as their native language, but almost. The Danish media, politicians and especially the Danish campaigns have been Americanized the last 20 years. The reason why everybody has been so affected by America and not China or Russia is partly because of the globalization and partly because they have been the helping and the dominating power, when the other countries where shattered and poor after years of war.

bound? - hvad mener du på dansk?
.... fashion-capitol = fashion capital
.... not as their native language, but almost. = is spoken all over the world, if it is not native laguage, then at least it is the secondary language of most countries.
