David Beckham and his family has become Icons. They are fashion trend setters and popular all over the world. Mr. Beckham is not only a well playing football player, but a man with character and personality. He is often changing style, which makes him different from other players.
The importance of effective marketing is big. That is the reason why I think that we should use the Beckham-family in the front of our new sportsclothes collection.
1)If we are going to make use of David Beckham in the campaign, it would be wise also to involve his wife Victoria Beckham (ex-Spice Girl) and their to children Brooklyn and Romeo. First of all the target group would be much width, while then we could also present women sportswear and children sportswear. Secondly Victoria is a idol for a lot people from her time in Spice Girls. Now she is a top model and the face of the rapper Jay-Z’s clothing line.
2)The way the campaign should edified, is with the family in centre. We aren’t going to focus at them as individuel persons, but as the nuclear family they are. The media which I suggest we use, is television and Internet. The Internet is getting more and more users everyday an that development will continue.
A very important fact is that David Beckham and his family is known all over the world. Its not only in Europe the family are admired. In Asia, North- and South American and Africa they have a large group of fans.
I have made some research about David Beckham. In connection with that I have contacted his manager Simon Fuller, how was hopeful and interested in making a fuse with Zara.
If you would like further information’s about the Beckham-family or have any other suggestions concerning the campaign, please let me know.
