Billy Elliot anmeldese. Vil i rette?

Billy Elliot.

Name of my Character: Jackie.

1. I think Jackie is about 40 years old but he looks older that I think he is.
He lives with his 2 boys and his mom in a small house.
His wife past away before the film started and he really miss her.
I know he miss her because he is speaking a lot about her and he don’t know what to do after her dead. In the film he suddenly smashed his wife’s piano because Billy is playing on it and I think he smashed it because it reminds him about his wife when Billy plays on it.
He doesn’t have much hair, but the hair he has is white and his eyes are blue.
He is very frustrated because he doesn’t know what to do to make his kids happier.
He is striking with his eldest boy Tony, in that hope that he will get more money but at the end of the film he starts working again and people calls him a blackleg because he is giving up, but he is doing it to gain money, so he can buy a ticket to London, and he feels much better with himself.

2. I know that the strike is a follow from the crises in the small coal mining town Durham in England in 1894, but I also know it is about 1979-1990 because Thatcher was Prime Minister in these years. You can also see it because the cars aren’t like now but they aren’t very old, the furniture in Billy’s home is not like furniture is right now and the clothes they are wearing is a little old.

4. I acutely like the whole film but I like some of the scenes more than the other.
I like the one when Billy and Michael are dancing around in the boxing room and Billy’s father suddenly stands in the door and Billy just keep dancing in the front of him because he knows that it isn’t wrong.
It is also there Jackie realised that it isn’t wrong.

I also like the one at the last when Billy and his father are sitting on a tree and laughing with each other, because they botch are happy and i think that Jackie knows that Billy is a good boy even if he is dancing.

And a last I really like the one when Billy gets the letter from London and he begins to cry in his bedroom. I like that scene because it shows how much he love to dance and now he see that he is good at it.

5. I really like this film and it is a great film which really took me by surprise.
This film shows you that it you aren’t homosexual because you are dancing, but it also shows that if you are homosexual it isn’t wrong and you can still have friend.
This film also shows how bad Jackie feels because he doesn’t know what do to with his sons, especially Billy.
When you have seen this movie you also know that it isn’t money that makes you happy, but it is the things in life that you love and the thing that love you.
I really like the end of the film, because Jackie realise that it isn’t wrong to dance ballet and they both have it much better after that.

6. Billy is forced to box by his father, although he is a miserable fighter.
One day when Billy is training, he sees that they are dancing ballet in the room next to him.
He decided to try dancing ballet and he really loved it.
When Billy’s dad, heard that Billy is training a “non-male” sport he gets very angry and he tells Billy that he never may dance ballet again.
When Mrs. Wilkinson tries to explain the whole situation, Billy's dad and Tony think she is trying to control Billy's life, but she is probably not. She just wants the best for Billy.
