Hej, er der ikke nogen der vil være sød lige at kigge det her igennem, og se hvis der er nogle fejl. Tak :-)
”Is TV becoming our reality?” is an essay about the affection TV makes on peoples life. The writer tells us about complains there were back in time, when experts and parents wrote letters and were complaining to the editors, because the TV effected children and young people, for example with the mindless violence, which makes children think that it’s okay to use violence. The writer claim that TV doesn’t only blur our reality nowadays, but it is becoming our reality. It started with soaps, where people were watching the series, and starting to act like it was reality. The soap was taking such a big part of the everyday life that people were talking about the series and characters as if it was reality. Then reality TV came, and became very famous. A lot of people followed the shows, and the shows were funny because of the humiliation of the people who were joining the shows, like singing competitions. People joined because they wanted to get on TV, even if they couldn’t sing. So the fact that they were humiliating people showed the children that it’s okay to do that. There was a reality TV were the camera followed real people who lived their lives normally like everybody else. Some people got so addicted to those programmes that they needed help when the show ended. The point of the article is that TV is affecting people to much, in a bad direction. It shows that the TV is more important than real life, that you can make fun of people and so on. So the writer just proved that if that is what happens to people, TV has become their reality.
