Silence is the right word for this creepy story where you are left with a feeling of emptiness and incomprehensible thoughts. The author tries to make visible through the theme and message of the story, that we humans have evolved to selfish, greedy, and ungrateful creatures. In the sense that we are inclined to live an absolute life of luxury, with money and everything your heart desires. ?We are used to becoming frustrated and annoyed when we finally face resistance in the form of rules/limitations or new demands that we are not accustomed to in our happy lives. In this story the two children, Peter and Wendy, seem to totally have gotten the better of their parents, which you can only blame the parents themselves for. When we reach the end of the short story the situation is already completely out of control, which makes it almost impossible for the parents to change their childrens behavior. Peter and Wendy have become so accustomed to ruling the house and their parents that they turn the nursery against them when they try to turn it off. The fact that the children can even dream of letting the lions eat their parents - and they have as the nursery transforms according to the childrens imagination and mood - shows how much the parents have lost control.

Denne her sætning mangler tilsyneladende en fortsættelse, eller også er det i forlængelse af det første

In the sense that we are inclined to live an absolute life of luxury, with money and everything your heart desires

ellers kan jeg ikke se flere fejl
