Studievejledning
Grænsekvotient, gennemsnit and quotas
Hi,
I'm a foreign student and I'd like to apply to a university in Denmark (for a bachelor degree). I've been looking around the courses that seem to be interesting and of I course came across of couple of problems I'd like to ask about. I'll list them here and if you'll be able to answer any of them that would be huge help.
1) I've read about 3 different quotas and I'm fairly sure I know what each one of them mean although I wasn't able to find a specific answer to whether or not are international students allowed to be in quota 1 therefore - am I allowed to apply in quota 1 as an international student with foreign qualifying examination?
2) If so, as I've read, in quota 1, applicants are ordered based on their GPA ("grænsekvotient"). Is GPA ("grænsekvotient") same as average ("gennemsnit")?
3) While calculating this GPA/average, do i use all final grades (from past 4 years) from my high school or do I use only grades from my senior/last year?
4) and last one, do I calculate GPA/average only from relevant subjects or from all subjects?
Thanks for any answer.
