Korrekt engelsk?

Hej allesammen, jeg er igang med at skrive en engelsk novelle.

Jeg skriver den først på dansk og oversætter senere, jeg ville bare høre om I ville tage et kig på den og se om jeg oversætter rigtigt. 

Tak på forhånd. 

It was a shiny beautful day. The sun was shining from a clear sky over the little city. The city had a special scent of apples because there were small red apples everywhere. Small different colored houses stood in line, each house with an apple tree and a small red mailbox. Except a blue crooked little house with two pear trees and a blue mailbox. It was Harry's house. Harry was a little boy with curls, crooked teeth and big round glasses. He lived in the house with his mother, father and his evil brother, David. Harry's only friends were his books, he did nothing but read books all the time. He was the wisest in his class, but still, he was teased by everyone. For in the city it was all about being cool. If you were the wisest, smartest or strongest, it was not enough to fit into the city. You had to be cool.
The city was ruled by three boys David, Dennis and Daniel. They decided everything in the city, and decided who the cool ones were. The reason David, Dennis and Daniel decided everything, was because they had a special tree the place they used to be together. On the tree grew there blue magic apples. If you ate one of the blue apples on the December 24, you would get one wish. David, Dennis and Daniel decided of who might be in their group, to get an apple every year. Those who had the magic apples, they should dress like David, Dennis and Daniel. Big pants, big shirts, a red casket and a candy necklace you got if you were cool, like them.
