Abstract:

This assignment describes and explores how Hitler gained supremacy of Germany, with a recapitulation of Hitler’s rise to power, along with a description and a brief review of the historical situation in Germany from 1921-1933. Furthermore the assignment contains an analysis of the given speech “Rede Hitlers vor dem Industrie-Club in Düsseldorf” with a focus on the rhetorical tools that Hitler used. Based on the analysis of the speech, it is also indicated how the use of rhetorical tools retrains in the speech “Gib uns vier Jahre Zeit.“ In addition to the above, the assignment also deals with a debate regarding the rhetorical tools’ effects, as well as an estimation of how the use of these had a large impact. It is concluded that the use of the rhetorical tools have had a great impact on Hitler’s figure, additionally, assumed that there could have been other social causes as unemployment, which have influenced Hitler’s path to power.
