hejsa.. er der nogen vil være søde lige at kigge det her igennem.. jeg ved godt der er lidt meget men behøves også kun lige af være for de væreste fejl.. på forhånd mange tak.. mh lasse
In this story, which are set in the home of the main character’s parents, we meet the main character herself and her mother. The story is built on a flashback which are told by the main character. This nice Sunday afternoon is passed two years ago, where the mother still was alive. The two women are sitting talking while they are having a drink on this beautiful summer evening. We immediately feel that the main issue in the text is the relationship between mother and daughter. It is not because they have a bad relationship, but it is not really a mother-daughter relationship it is more just like a friendship. That the daughter says that the mother not even is her mother but just Vina also indicate that it is more like a freindship.
The mother is “young” of her age both in manner and appearance and in sneaking the daughter is very proud of her. “You must have been whistled at when you were young, Mam. Oh now, I`m not beyond the whistles yet”.
When the mother had a very hard time as young. She was nor really appreciated because she was a girl and she operated more as a housemaid than a daughter because the family was very poor. The mother promised herself, when she got children she would bring them up totally different. “ I swore I`d never do that to mine” . I do not think the mother want her daughter to have the same bad youth as herself and it is maybe the reason why became sad about the accident with the boyfriend. “She is the one who sobbed into her hanky the night I was sixteen and Dad caught me kissing my boyfriend at the foot of the drive” . After that accident I think the daughter find it hard to involve her mother into private affairs even though she says “No matter what happens, you can always tell me” . I do not think her intentions are as good as the way she lays it out. Not that she not like her daughter because I think she do much I just don`t think she wants to hear if her daughter has done something wrong. I think the text obvious says that the mother cares a lot about her daughter. Not only her love life get a lot of intention but also her education where the mother has called half a dozen og colleges to find one who matched her daughters meagre points.
The daughter have a boyfriend which concern the mother because she is very religious even so religious that she ones thought about become a none. I think the reason why it concern the mother so much is because the two of them look so much as each other and the mother has also been in that age where sexual instinct is very high.
In the end of the story the mother is going to release a secret, but the narrator make her keep it from herself because she probably would regret it because she was a little drunk. Even though it was the narrator who didn’t wanted to hear the secret, she can not get it out of her head what it was about not even two years later. I do not was the secret was about but a guess would be that it has something do with that the mother in her young days not was as clear as her daughter think.
The themes are that no one are perfect so you have to stop acting like everything are okay if the are not. You have to show who you really are and if you have a problem it should be possible about it with your family and other people you love without any kind of condemnation

Du har virkelig mange kongruensfejl og du bør virkelig gøre noget ud af at få styr på dem ellers går det galt, jeg har rettet dem for dig, men gør dig alligevel umage. Kongruensfejl tæller virkelig meget.
