Hey, er der en der har tid til at kigge lidt engelsk igennem? på forhånd tak.

1. Exposition: In the beginning of the story we are introduced to the characters of an indian famiy, which contains of the father, the mother and their to daugthers. We get a description of the circumstances and the enviroment. We also get an insight into / the knwoledge of the differences between the two main characters, their relationship to their parents and to their town. Later on an important character is presented: the english woman Miss little.

2.Rising action: we get acquainted with the conflict in the story, when the wrights moves into the blocks. We hears about the problemes they cause for the other occupiers in the blocks and hears about how they treat them, especially the couloured, with disrespect.

2. Rising action: we get acquainted with the conflict, when the wrights move into the blocks. We hear about the problems they cause for the other occupiers and how they treat them with disrespect, especially against the Indian Family. We get an in sight into the family’s conflict and Rebecca’s fight against the wrights’ racial harassments.

3. Climax: the climax comes, when Savitri visits Miss little on her death bed in the nursing-home, hearing about the incident which made Rebecca become silent. Savitri is told, that Rebecca has being raped and threatened into silence by the Wrights.

4. The fade out: the story fades out, when Miss Little finishes her telling about the dreadful misdeed committed against Rebecca.

det hedder ikke "contains of".. brug fx "consists of" eller noget tilsvarende

"an insight into" er ok, men du kunne også bruge fx "learn about"

2)

"get acquainted with" synes jeg ikke er godt.. "are introduced to" som du skriver i 1) er bedre..

3)

"has been raped"

In the beginning of the story we are introduced to an Indian family consisting of a father, mother and their two daughters.

We get a description of (brug andet ord) and the environment. We also learn about the differences between the two main characters and their relationship with their parents and the town they live in.

Later on, an important character is introduced: The English woman Miss Little.

We get to know the conflict of the story when the Wrights move into the blocks. We hear about the problems they cause the other residents and hear how they treat them. They especially treat the coloured disrespectful.

All in all, we follow Rebecca’s fight against the Wright family's racial harassments.

The climas reaches its pinnable when Savitri visits Mrs Little at her deathbed in the nursing home about the incident that made Rebecca silent.

Savitri is told that Rebecca has been raped and that the Wrights has threatened her to keep her mouth shut.

The story ends when Miss Little finishes telling about the dreadful misdeed committed against Rebecca

men har lige et spørgsmål:
må jeg godt tegne en spændingskurve over novellen i en stil og skrive som jeg har gjort foroven 1.exposition:....

og så vise det på min kurve?
