Indeed, President Wilson's Fourteen Points.
They were never ratified although, as the American congress followed a policy of political isolationism towards European affairs, and WW1 had become increasingly hated in the States due to the American perception that the war was pointless for the Americans.
The armistice was signed at the Compiègne Forest in NOVEMBER 1918, which ended the actual fighting, so you're slightly off with that date.
