Rettelse af engelsk summary

Jeg ville blive meget glad hvis nogen lige gider kigge min aflevering igennem, da engelsk ikke ligefrem er mit bedste fag. I må også meget gerne sige til hvis det jeg har skrevet ikke er det man forstår ved et summary. På forhånd tak for hjælpen.

Summary of "The Waste Land" by Alan Paton

This South African short story takes place in a deserted area with only a convict with barred doors and “the waste land”, which is an unpleasant place full of iron, wire and ramshackle cars.
A poor, black family father has just got his wages and is on his way home. As he get off the bus he sees the young men that everyone dread because they aren’t inferior to anything, not even to kill, when it comes to get someone else’s hard-earned money. The man is beside himself with fear and anger at the injustice of life and the way that the young men handle their situation. He acts only by instinct and tries to escape into the waste land, where he hides. He is carrying a heavy stick and on his escape he uses it twice against his pursuers, one of the times with a deadly result. After a whiole the other young men give up the hunt, believing that he has got away, and leave the place. They dump the body of their dead fellow next the man in his hiding place. It appears that the body next to the man is his own son that he had killed in self-defence. The man leaves the waste land as a broken man.
