hey. jeg skal aflevere den nedenstående tekst imorgen, jeg har kigget på det en del gange nu, og vil gerne have hvis en af jer lige kunne kigge på det en ekstra gang, hvis der er nogle fejl.
1)
In text 1, the English version of the show Big Brother and the audience get treated rather harshly by Christopher Hudson. To begin with, the contenders are widely criticized, as it is indicated clearly in the following quotes: “…where a group of inarticulate twentysomethings are filmed in the Mediterranean getting drunk and falling into swimming pools.“(Page 1, line 16-19). “I was struck by how unformed they were” (page 1, line 29-39). In these quotes there are few indications of the fact that in his view, the contenders are not worth the audience’s attention. To some extent, I share the view that the contenders in reality shows such as Big Brother , often represents the modern young generation, and the purpose is to show them just as young people want to be in this day and age, and that is rather not having any responsibilities. It is, however, rude to describe them as small kids, who don’t know anything about the real world, and in my view that is a big mistake done by Mr. Hudson. He also expresses his condemnation at the audience who spend their time watching Big Brother. He claims that the modern media has a psychological effect on the viewers. Watching the show is an evidence for the needs of modern human-beings. Today, we prefer to peep. I completely agree to the fact that in modern age, the human beings like peeping through the curtains into other people’s private life. This need has been increased over the past few years, and for the time being, the trend seems to be rising,

Stuart Jeffries’ article reflects his view on the treatment of Jade. To begin with, he expresses his sympathy for Jade. He tells that, he was not used to feel sympathy for the contestants, as the matter of fact that they had chosen it themselves. This fact is shown in the following quote: ” Their Spartan suffering is justified…”(page 1, line 18). Like many other British people, he too hated one particular contestant, and that was Jade. Jade was apparently not a gifted girl, and according to Mr. Jeffries, it is due the major impact of the media, that a big part of the British population began hating Jade. He, especially, blames the internet for having a great impact on the views of people towards Jade. Furthermore, he considers the tabloids for having a big role in destroying Jade’s life. He tells that the media takes advantage of innocent people like Jade. He does not consider it for being moral that the media benefits other people’s misery.
3)
The narrator in text 4 is obviously a loyal reader of The Sun. The Sun has apparently had a huge affect on the narrator, and everything the narrator says comes from this particular tabloid. The narrator appears to be brainwashed by The Sun, as it is clearly expressed in the following quote: “I am blinded by the sun”(text 4, line 36). Being blinded is a very good description of the “relationship” between The Sun and the narrator. The narrator in text 4 is a perfect example of what Angela Lambert writes about in her article from The Independent. She gives a thorough description of what she considers, are the biggest disadvantages of the modern media. She believes that the modern media, and especially, The Sun urges people to do things, which for a dozen years ago would have been immoral to do. Things such as in following quotes taken from text 4: “I believe the Blacks are bad”(1st line) , “I am not keen on foreign ones”(10th line) , “Black people rob”(line 19).
