Engelsk
En hjælpende hånd
Hej alle sammen,
Jeg er ikke særlig god til engelsk grammatik, så ville være lykkelig hvis nogen gad læse nedenstående stykke igennem . Al hjælp kan bruges :o) og på forhånd tak.
Communication is and has always been an important tool for people to get along. For that reason the world needs a global language; so people can communicate across the frontiers. English has become this global language. People worldwide speak English, and children are learned the language early in school.
It’s very important for human beings to be able to speak with one another, and that’s where a global language comes in. In the text Eating Sugar we are to learn just how important the language is. Alex and his wife speak English and their daughter who lives in Thailand speaks both English and Thai. When they meet three Thai men in the rainforest who barely speak English, they’re scared to death. Suzanne, the daughter, who easily talks to the men, isn’t afraid at all. The reason to this is that she understands them, and she is able to communicate with them, and that makes her feel like she’s one of them. Alex and his wife on the other hand, don’t understand much of what they’re saying, and that makes them feel very unsecure and not part of the group.
This situation shows us, that a situation that really isn’t complicated can turn into a truly unpleasant experience if the persons involved aren’t able to communicate.
Mvh.

English has become this global language; people worldwide speak English and children are learning English already while going to Elementary school.
It is very important for human beings to be able to speak with one another, and that is where a global language comes into the picture.
In the text Eating Sugar we are to learn just how important the language is. Alex and his wife speak English and their daughter who lives in Thailand speaks both English and Thai. Alex and his wife on the other hand, do not understand much of what they are saying, and that makes them feel very unsecure and not part of the group.
What this situation implies is that in reality, a very natural situation can turn into a truly unpleasant experience if the people involved are not capable of communicating with one another.
