hilsen rilla..

Rumspringa "running around" is the period of Amish teenagers and age in this period is 16 Amish teenagers are not baptized, they are allowed to experience the world. The parties, drinking, and a certain amount, there is misbehaviour. At the end of this period are Amish young people baptized in the church and usually married and have a marriage.

(oversat til korrekt engelsk meget gerne)

For the Amish people, it is important that they have a belief that it is faith in God.
Their traditions are very important for them to respect a tradition is very valuable. For them, it is also important to not have sex before marriage.

Tag f.eks. dette: "The parties, drinking, and a certain amount, there is misbehaviour."

"Rumspringa" means "running around" and it is a period of an Amish teenagers´ life. It starts at the age of 16 while they are still not baptized, and they are now allowed to experience the world in their own way. They party, they drink and they show lots of misbehaviour. At the end of this period, when they are about 25 years old, they become baptized in church and they usually get married too.

To the Amish people it is important to have a strong faith. Keeping the old traditions is very important and it is also important not to have sex before marriage

"Rumspringa" means "running around" and it is a period of the Amish teenagers´ lives. It starts at the age of 16 and they are now allowed to experience the world in their own way. They party, they drink and they practise some degree of misbehaviour which is tolerated. They can do this because they have not yet taken adult membership in the church. This rumspringa period ends when they choose to be baptized or to leave the community.

To the Amish people it is important to have a strong faith. Keeping the old traditions is very important and it is also important not to have sex before marriage
