In the 1970s an American doctor found out, that you could help sick people with helping of laughter.
Then many think it was nonsense, but today the hospital clowns are approved as a means of healing, especially on the children department.
Although the clowns are popular, and children are happy to meet them, isn’t it all hospitals, that receive visits of a clown. The clowns are still not on the hospital budgets, and that’s why they are depending on, that they get support from sponsors and foundations.

In the 1970s an American doctor (found out) discovered(,) that sick people could be helped with laughter. At that time, many thought that it was nonsense, but today hospital clowns are (approved) acknowledged as a (curing) therapeutic means, especially in the (childrens) children's (department) wards.
Even though the clowns are popular and the children (like) are happy to meet them, not all hospitals receive visits (of a) from them yet. The clowns are still not on the hospital budgets, and therefore they are dependant on support from sponsors and (funds) foundations.
