Hej. :)

Jeg har nogle opgaver med engelsk ejefald, og jeg er ikke sikker på allesammen.

Jeg ved umiddelbart godt det er mange sætninger, men det kunne være lækkert hvis en af jer bare skimtede dem og spottede eventuelt tydelige fejl.

1a) The fields of the farm.
1b) The fields of the farm are facing towards west.
2a) The branches of the tree.
2b) The branches of the tree were full of ripe pears.
3a) The president’s son.
3b) The president’s son would like to follow in his father’s footsteps.
4a) The decision of the court.
4b) The decision of the court was decisive for Mr. Smith’s life.
5a) The ending of the book.
5b) The ending of the book is something ambiguous, but the persons’ development towards the ending is unavoidable.
6a) The tables of the Restaurant.
6b) The girls was about to wipe the restaurant’s tables, when it’s owner came in.
7a) The meeting of yesterday.
7b) The meeting of yesterday was cancelled because of rain.
8a) Two year’s of absence.
8b) Two year’s of absence had not chanced anything in their relationship to each other
9a) The Brother’s house.
9b) My Brother’s house stands in the northern part of the city.
10a) The time of the cigarette.
10b) I’m back in a time of a cigarette.
11a) Young people’s behaviour.
11b) Young people’s behaviour often annoys adults.
12a) The elephant’s trunk. *
12b) The elephant’s trunk is a useful thing in the Indians daily work.
13a) The title of the play.
13b) The title of the play alludes to the main character’s development.
14a) The sister-in-law’s records.
14b) I’m pleased that I can borrow my sister-in-law’s records for the tonight’s party.
15a) The transport workers’ union.
15b) He got excluded from the club, because he was not a member of the transport workers’ union.
