Hjælp til rettelse af Engelsk

 Det her er teksten jeg vil øve til min fremlæggelse til 9 klasses engelsk afgangs eksamen. Jeg har emnet Homeless people in USA. Jeg vil blive meget taknemlig hvis der var en der lige vil kigge den igennem for fejl og grammatiske fejl, og input til hvad der måske vil lyde bedre.

Og hvis der en der vil gøre mig en stor tjeneste, ved at skrive hvad de synes om hjemløse på engelsk.. På forhånd tak! :-) 

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%; mso-ansi-language:EN-US">1) I have chosen Homeless people in USA, because i think it’s a big problem, and the number of homeless people keeps rising. And it’s not a problem only in USA or Denmark, but all over the world. And you see a homeless very often when you are in the big cities.   </o:p>

2) Some people believe that the reason why people become homeless is that they are lazy. This is a myth. Many people who become homeless are working or have been working for a long time until something caused them to lose their employment. Sometimes people have injuries that prevent them from doing the kind of work they’re trained to do. </o:p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%; mso-ansi-language:EN-US">They are actually also some people who choose to be homeless without having any financial problems</o:p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%; mso-ansi-language:EN-US">But 4 out of 10 homeless Americans are children 12 years or younger.<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height: 115%;mso-ansi-language:EN-US"></o:p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%; mso-ansi-language:EN-US"> Some people try to forget about their poverty and troubles by using alcohol or drugs. If they become addicted to them, they will spend a lot of money on their dependence--money that should be spent on rent or house payments. 62 % homeless have alcohol problems, and 58 % has drug problems. </o:p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%; mso-ansi-language:EN-US">3) Housing first is an organization, to help the homeless get re-integrated into society, and out of homeless shelters. They talk with all the states, and find out how they can best help the homeless people.</o:p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 14.0pt;line-height:115%;mso-ansi-language:EN-US">In Denmark there are several independent organizations that help homeless people, that operating shelters or hot rooms.</o:p>

4) Give them a place to sleep. Help them to get a job, and get them to rehab so they can, get rid of drug or alcohol problems. It is easier said than done but somehow they must come to realize the world can be a better place if they are willing to change. But no one hires people with no phone number or address. A lot of homeless were living good lives, until they lost their jobs through no fault of their own. </o:p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%; mso-ansi-language:EN-US">5) I think especially shop owners doesn’t like homeless people, because they sleep in front of their shop. I never have had a hate on homeless people, they are human just like me and you. They just had a couple of problems that has made them lose their house and money. Just the other day I passed a homeless man on the street and of course we always think of giving them money. However, money can go many places. But, I remembered I had a bag of chips in my backpack. That just made my day and his because I knew he was very hungry, and I could feel how grateful he was. Sometimes I also buy the homeless newspaper ‘’house passed’’.</o:p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%; mso-ansi-language:EN-US">And I also think that homeless people are very lonely, that’s maybe why most of them have a dog. I think that most of the problems in our own lives will be solved by helping others. The whole concept of being successful is based on giving and helping. So I think that we need to give them hope and encouragement, so they can believe that they can still have a great life.</o:p>
