This paper is a study of water chemistry and the connection between Chemical calculations, biological and chemical experiments. It is a study of concepts such as pH value, photosynthesis, respiration and the connection between them. Furthermore, it is a study of (kuldioxid osv. er kemiske forbindelser, ikke koncepter) Carbon dioxide, Carbonic acid, bicarbonate, carbonate and their connection.

The paper explains the mentioned concepts and shows Bjerrum-diagram <- (Er muligvis for indforstået, jeg forstår i hvert fald ikke). Finally, changes in water chemistry and their consequences are explained. The experiment with the water thyme (vandpest) is a good discussion of pH changes underphotosynthesis and respiration. <- (Denne sætning er igen meget indforstået -- Hvilket eksperiment med vandpest?)
