Jeg ville tro nummer 1. Og desuden hedder det this leads (med s).

Det mest korrekte at skrive er nok: So this leads to many countries in the world boycotting South Africa

De to forslag betyder ikke nøjaagtigt det samme:
"This led to many countries in the world boycotting South Africa" = "det førte til at mange lande boycottede SA."
"This led many countries in the world to boycott South Africa" = "Det fik mange lande til at boycotte SA."
