Hej!

Students speak(/are speaking?) ”Circus English” at the university
Frustrated professor at RUC must teach his students English in his spare time.
Only 20 per cent of the students at the international humanistic basic education at Roskilde University Centre (RUC) do not master English at/on an academic level. The majority do not reach the level but still manages to get through. And other 20 per cent are completely miserable.
That is Brian Patrick McGuire’s, professor in History at RUC, opinion. Both the Danish and the foreign students are too bad.
”I am so frustrated by working my way through reports and projects full of banal mistakes/errors, I often get assignments that are completely incomprehensible. It is circus English. So now I have decided to make a grammar course for new students in my spare time. Because without good linguistic tools you cannot argument in an assignment, which is required at the university”, says Brian Patrick McGuire.

Tusind tak for det! Skønt..
Jo, den glemte jeg lige.
Frustreret professor på RUC må give sine elever udnervisning i engelsk i sin fritid.
