Hej.
Every wagon gathered beside the cathedral and droved around in town, where they stopped about dozen of places, in order where the plays than was performed. That means that the crowd could place oneself at one of the stops in town, where they then would be served by the whole book of Bible stories by changing guilds. For example performed the goldsmiths the three wise men´s visit by Herod while the butchers took himself off the crucify on Good Friday.
Some guild specialized themself in the tragc sides while others took themselfs off humorous scenes. One of the most beloved people was Noha´s wife who was played like a real harp who was impudent to everybody. To get the fully aware of the plays demanded ofcourse a knowledge to the Bible and a sure portion patience: a full performance lasted from sunrise to sunset.

Her er mit bud:
All the vehicles gathered at the cathedral and drove thereafter around town stopping at a dozen of places to perform the play.
That way, the crowd could position itself at one of the stops and have the whole Bible story told by varying/different guilds.
As an example, the goldsmiths performed the Three Wise Men's visit to Herod, while the butchers performed the crucifixtion of Jesus on Good Friday.
Some guilds specialized in the tragic aspects, while others performed funny scenes.
One of the most beloved persons was the wife of Noah, who was portrayed as an ill-tempered woman, who was rude to anyone.
In order to fully understand the plays, it was - of course - necessary to have basic knowledge of the Bible and a bit of patience: an entire performance lasted from sunrise to sunset.

every wagon --> all the vehicles/waggons
mangler "thereafter"
around in town --> el: around town
where --> stopping at a dozen of places to perform the play.
That means --> That way, the crowd could position itself at one of the stops and be told the whole Bible story by different guilds.
