hej...jeg håber at der er nogen der kan se min oversættelse igennem..jeg er ikke helt sikker på om jeg har oversat rigtig..synes den er svære..

Et folk der forstår at leve med energikrisen: Mens størstedelen af verdens landes prøver at finde løsninger på energiproblems and oliepriserne stadig stiger, er der en lille gruppe mennesker i staten Pennsylvania i USA hvis tilværelser er ganske upåvirket af krisen. Det er amisherne der oprindelig kommer fra Tyskland og Holland, og som var blandt de første europæiske indvandrere der kom til Amerika. Deres leder var præster, og det lille samfund praktiserer endnu i dag de samme dyder som hollænderne i det 17.århundrede:gudsfrygt og nøjsomhed.
Amish’erne har stædigt vent ryggen til den tekniske udvikling og dens følger. Sektens medlemmer må ikke være afhængige af kollektive energikilder, da de er fast overbevist om at en forbindelse fra deres hjem til f.eks. et offentligt kraftværk er det samme som en forbindelse til djævlen selv.

While the most of the world’s countries try to find solutions in energy problems and oil prizes continuous rise, are there a small group people in the State Pennsylvania in USA whose life are quite uninfluenced of the crisis.
This is the Amish, who original are from Germany and Netherlands, and who was among the first European immigrant who come to America. Theirs leaders were priests, and the small society practises still today the same virtues who the Dutch people in the 17th century: piety and frugality.
The Amish have stubborn turn theirs one’s back to the technically development and its following. The sect’s members may not be dependent of the collective sources of energy, then they are firm convinced about that a connection from their home to for example a publicly power station is the same as a connection to the devil self.
