Hey er der nogle der gider at rette/gennemgå denne stil?

An old man walks in his sleep dreaming he has a conversation with his wife who is dead. He walks on his bare feet to the kitchen, switches the kitchen light on and takes the kettle to the sink. In his dream he perceives a dog barking, or maybe a fox which he and his wife Jessica saw once. While he makes a cup of tea, still talking with his wife, the fridge clicks and makes him jump. He is now awake and confused, and doesn’t understand why his wife is gone. He walks into the sitting room with his cup of tea, and hears a seagull screaming above the roof. The clock is three-forty-five in the morning, and the seagull keeps screaming new sounds and finally flies away. Still confused he notices a woman standing in the doorway, the woman appears to be his daughter, but he has difficulties remembering her. He mixes the memory of the fox he saw with his wife, and asks his daughter if she remember when they saw the fox. She tells him that she remember that him and his wife telling her about it. Still confused he decides to find out where he is, and he opens the front door, and sees a small, orange fox. He asks if his daughter can see it, she can’t, but at the end of the story she sees the fox.

At first when I read this story, I found it very difficult because I didn’t knew why the old man acted that way. I thought he was senile or drunk, but when I read the story again and analysed it, I found out that this story is about loosing somebody who you are very close to.
I think that the old man recently has lost his wife, because he still dreams of her and misses her. When he wakes up from his sleepwalking, he is very confused because he just dreamt that his wife was alive, and he feels disorientated.

I think that the seagull he hears in the story is a symbol for being lonely and the ability of taking care of your self. Like the old man, the seagull screaming new sounds to be heard by others seagulls. The seagull doesn’t always get any answers, and then it flies away and tries again. The old man feels lonely and misses his wife, and tries to talk with her on an unconscious level. Like the seagull the man needs to move on, even though it can be rough.

The beautiful fox in the story is a symbol of a memory he and his wife have had, a good memory they have experienced together. They have seen the fox together in a December month with snow, and maybe therefore it has been an extraordinary and beautiful experience they shared together, and with that the fox has become a symbol for a good memory he has experienced with his wife. It’s maybe because he misses her wife so much, that he in the end of the story sees the fox, because he unconsciously needs to be reminded of his late wife. When he point out the fox to his daughter has trouble seeing it, maybe she can’t see it, and doesn’t want to make a fool out of him by questioning him, or maybe she just want to be apart of the beautiful memory between her father and mother. At last the fox runs away from them, but the good memory is still there.

I think this text is a good example of being lonely, and have trouble getting used to the thought of being lone. Furthermore I think that the author describes the main characters situation in a way that makes you sympathize with him. This makes the story interesting and more personal. Besides that I also think that the author uses some good descriptions of the surroundings around the old man, and that also gives the story a greater perspective.

An old man runs in his sleep dreams he has a conversation with his wife, who is dead. He runs on his bare feet to the kitchen, the kitchen light on and take the boiler to the sink. In his dream he a dog barking, or maybe a fox that he and his wife Jessica saw once. While he makes a cup of tea, still talking to his wife, a refrigerator clicks and makes him jump. He is now awake and confused, and does not understand why his wife is gone. He walks into the living room with his cup of tea, and hear a seagull screams above the roof. The clock is three-forty-five in the morning, and the seagull remains screaming new sounds and eventually fly away. Still confused, he notices a woman in the doorway, the woman appears to be his daughter, but it has its problems out. He mixes the memory of the fox saw him with his wife, his daughter and asks if they remember when they saw the fox. She tells him that they remember that he and his wife told her about. Still confused he decides to find out where he is, and he opens the door and sees a small, orange fox. He asks whether his daughter can see, he can not, but at the end of the story is the fox.

At first when I read this story, I found it very difficult because I did not know why the old man has acted this way. I thought he was senile or drunk, but when I reread the story and analyzed, I discovered that this story is about someone you are very close to losing.
I think the old man has just lost his wife because he still dreams of her and miss her. When he wakes up from his sleepwalking, it is very confusing, because he just dreamt that his wife was alive, and he feels disoriented.

I think the seagull he belongs in the story is a symbol for his lonely and the ability of the care of your self. Like the old man, the seagull screaming new sounds to be heard by others gulls. The seagull is not always all the answers, and then flies away and try again. The old man feels lonely and misses his wife, and tries to talk to her on an unconscious level. As the seagull the man must go, even if the raw.

The beautiful fox in the story is a symbol of a memory that he and his wife had a good memory have seen together. They have seen the fox together in a month in December with snow, and perhaps it is a special and wonderful experience they shared together, and that the fox has become a symbol for a good memory he has experienced with his wife. It is perhaps because he misses her wife so much that he in the end of the story is the fox, because he unconsciously to be reminded of his wife late. When he recall the fox to his daughter is having problems, maybe they can not see it, not want to make a fool of him by him questions or they may just want to be apart from the beautiful memory between her father and mother . At the fox runs away from them, but a good memory is still there.

I think that this text is a good example of that lonely, and have trouble getting used to the idea that single person. Moreover, I believe that the author describes the main characters in a situation that makes you meevoelen way with him. This makes the story interesting and more personal. In addition to that I also think that the author used a number of good descriptions of the area around the old man, and that gives the story a larger perspective.
