Oversættelse i tider
Hej Folkens - jeg har virkelig brug for hjælp jeg skal:
Oversæt imperfektum (dated) til præsens (nutid) og pluskvamperfektum (førdatid) til perfektum (førnutid).
The Gangulis had moved to a university town outside Boston. As far as they knew, they were the only Bengali residents. The town had a historic district, a brief strip of colonial architecture visited by tourists on summer weekends. There was a white steepled church , a stone courthouse with an adjoining jail, a public library, a wooden well from which Paul Revere was rumored to have drunk. In winter, candles burned in the windows of homes after dark. Mr Ganguli had been hired as an assistant professor of electrical engineering at the university. In exchange for teaching five classes, he earned sixteen thousand dollars a year. He shared, along with other members of his department, the service of an elderly secretary named Mrs. Jones, who often put a plate of homemade bnana bread by the coffee machine in the staff room.

The Gangulis has/have(dette kommer an på, om du ser familien som et unit, eller som en samling af flere personer) moved to a university town outside Boston. as far as they know, they are the only Bengali residents. the town has a historic district, a brief strip of colonail architecture visits by tourists on summer weekends. There is a white steppled church, a stone court house with an adjouring jail, a public library, a wooden well from which Paul Revere is rumored to have drunk. in winter, candles burn in the windows of homes after dark. før datid: had done, had been, had eaten, had slept.......
før nutid: have done, have been, have eaten, have slept, has done, has been, has eaten, has slept.
datid: did, was, ate, slept
nutid: do, be, eat, sleep...
oversættelsen er meget hurtigt skrevet så tjek den lige igennem, okay?
