Hej alle, jeg har skrevet denne "stil" og håbre nogle af jeg lige hurtigt kunne rette den eller lige kigge den ignnem og nævne de store fejl hvis der er nogen, da jeg ikke er super god til engelsk. På forhånd tak
Maersk 145 cleared to land runway 22 L
From the 20 September to the 24 September, I was on job training in Maersk Air. The reason why I chose that is that I like aeroplanes. Since 1999, I been interested in aeroplanes because I bought a game named “Flight Simulator”. Therefore, I wanted to see how it is going on in real life.
Monday:
I met there at 8:15 am, and was picked up by a car a little time after. I was shown around, and after that, I got special clothes and boots. An aircraft engineer called Jesper took me up in a plane. In the cockpit, we started up the plane, and I knew a little about how to do it from “Flight Simulator”. The rest of the day we did nothing because it is mostly at night there is work to be done. Therefore, Jesper took me over to the main airport where we was in a SAS Airbus 340-300, as arrived from New York. That’s was fantastic! After that, we were up in a few planes more before we took back to the hangar, were I saw TV. Before the day ended, Jasper and I took over to the Airport police, so I could get an ID- card to the airport.
Tuesday:
In a Special hangar, Mr. Maersk´s private jet was parked. We had to do a service check on the aircraft because he had to use it, the next day. When I went in the plane, I had to take off my shoes. Inside it was luxury, and in the toilet, there was a leather seat. There was also DVD with Surround system and big seats. After I finished the work I have to do, I got over to the main office, to say goodbye. There they told me that they have asked a captain to take me in the cockpit on a tour to Palma de Mallorca, and he had said YES.
Wednesday:
That day I have to meet very early in Kastrup International Airport. Exactly at 06:30 am ,one hour before the departure.
A Maersk Air Staff called Linda and I walked to the special entrance for airport staff. From there we walked direct out to the gate, and when the gate opened, I was the first to get in the plane a Boeing 737-700. In the plane, I was presented for the pilots and the rest of the crew. We lift off from Kastrup at 07:46 and at that time; I was sitting back in the business class, and was enjoying it and got some meal and something to drink. About 20 min before landing I was called out to the cockpit, to see the landing from there. That was very amazing and after a perfect landing, we were in mall orca after 2 hours and 32 min in the air. We had to be in Mall orca about 1 hour, and I took a little tour outside. When I came back, the plane was being cleaning and got some fuel, in the meanwhile, the co pilot and I prepare the flight management computer for the return flight. The passengers get on and 48 minutes after we being pushed back out of gate 32, and 10 min later the pilot giving full gas and we accelerated to 250 km/h before we the co pilot lift us op from runway 10R on Palma de mall orca. Now the flight time was 2 hours and 45 minutes because we have heavy winding. That we fly in over Denmark the weather being grey and there was moderate wind with some turbulence. However, we get the aircraft down to runway 4R and taxies in to gate 12 where the trip ended. That one was the best flight I ever been on and after I say bye and thanks, the flight crew took home.
Thursday:
Today I have to get on the north side of the airport, where the main airports and planes were. After I arrived, there was nothing to do, so we use the time to surf on the net. About 1 hour later, we should go out for pushback an aircraft from a gate. That’s was very easy but our plane was few meters to hide an other aircraft. That we start the pushback a SAS machine comes very fast, pass us and then parked at the stand next to us, so he does not have to wait for us. 1 min after the tower says to us “Jeg tror lige du skal stoppe. Der er en maskine bagved jer” øhh I Think we should have seen it. After we pushed back, we give the captain ok to start the engines. Five min after we checked all was ok and let the plane start his trip. The same thing we did two times more with other planes, before we took back, to lunch. The canteen was very good and I got all the food free. After eating, we took back to “North”, and push back a last flight for the day before I took home.
Friday:
This was the last day of my job training. I met a Flight engineer called Martin and he took me with him .We took in a plane that was standing in the hangar. We have to check the whole plane for fasten seatbelts/ no smoking signs and all other lighting. I found about 10 missing lights, and then I repaired it. When I finished there was nothing to do again, but now I met a trainee engineer. I ask him where the plane I saw tomorrow outside the hangars was. He told me that’s was standing in the other hangar, and then I ask that we could get up in this and see the cockpit. The reason for I will se that plane was because that’s was an older plane that usual. It was a 737-500 and had to be retired soon therefore it’s was interesting too see it. We come up in the plane, sit in the cockpit, and took the checklist for start-up and asked him some questions before we took back to the main hangar. The plane I have changed the lights on before have to been moved to the gate on the airport by a truck. I took with the plane, and sit up in the cockpit and was being droved by the truck to the airport. We parked it on a stand and then I took with the engineer in the truck to the north side. There we push back some flights before I was been drove back to the main hangar. There I gave my boots and my clothes and they give me a little gift, A Maersk Air t-shirt and cap. I Say many thanks to all, and then took home for the last time.
That was one of the most, best and interesting things I ever have did. That’s was also and fantastic tour to Palma de Mallorca and the flight crew was superb. I will never forget this
