Engelsk resumé - rettelser

Hej..

I forbindelse med min bacheloropgave skal jeg også aflevere et resumé på engelsk, men jeg er ikke særlig god til engelsk, så jeg vil rigtig gerne have lidt hjælp til at rette fejlene..
Jeg har allerede haft en til at læse det igennem og rette i det, men jeg vil gerne have nogle andres syn på det også, så jeg håber der er nogle her der vil hjælpe..

Television broadcasting of handball

My bachelor thesis called tv-transmission af håndbold (which means ‘television broadcasting of handball), is, as the name indicates, about the televisions broadcasting of handball matches. In my opinion there hasn’t been enough focus on broadcasting of sports events, and especially not handball matches, in media studies, and that is why I have chosen to write about this subject. I am going to make a qualitative analysis of a match from the European Championship, between Denmark and Iceland, which was screened on TV 2 23th of January, 2010. The purpose of the analysis was to find some of the regular elements that TV 2 uses in the broadcasts to produce recognisability with the viewers.
Because of the lack of usable methods to analyse this kind of material I have assembled my analysis by means of a number of terms from relevant theories. It is for instance about intertextuality, descriptions of camera angles, types of dialogues and interviews plus ‘elite persons’. I have especially been focusing on three areas in the analysis: the basic construction of the broadcast with the regular elements, the individuals and their roles, plus the national aspects of the broadcast.
On the basis of the analysis I have found a number of regular elements which the viewers can relate to. In proportion to the individuals who occur in the broadcast, I have focused on two groups: the employees of TV 2 and the players/coaches. TV 2 has five primary individuals with certain roles in relation to each other and all of them have a number of tasks to carry out in proportion to the viewers. The players and coaches also have an important role in the broadcast. The national aspect is most obvious in the singing of the national anthem, but is for instance also seen in TV 2s attempt to revive the memories of the former great performances of the national team, for the viewers.
On the basis of a discussion about the real influence that these elements have for the popularity of the broadcasts, my conclusion is that the way TV 2 are doing the broadcast and the success of the national team together are pivotal for the popularity between the viewers.
