How the British identity has changed.

The British identity has changed a lot since the imperium at 1800, The British empire has gave up their colonies in __.
They have brought a lot of people from other countries and integrated them and taught them how live civilized in the Uk, other situations they have used them as slaves, like the text we had read in our compendium, “the white man’s burden” and in the text they said that “Take up the white man’s burden send forth the best ye breed” In this sentence they mean that you send your best son to work for other races (Whites) The sentence gives a good picture how the British people have behaved towards the immigrants in the 1800.

In the past there were no empire like we have seen today, it has built itself on war and conquers and discovered new countries and tribes. In past the kings and leaders have lead the Uk on the right path to domination of the world market and made one of the fastest growing empires ever only the US has surpassed The British empire.
The Uk have had a bloody past because of the wars they have joined especially the second world war, were they had big influence on the war and their alliance with France. In the war they together beat Germany and Hitler’s evil regime.

Today the British empire is not large as it was centuries ago, They had a large kingdom with slaves colonies, and a big market were their served their money, to get better facilities, and they had many people from other countries who worked for them as slaves, and it was one off the areas they served most, because they had a big labor, even though they didn’t get some off their own to worked for them, instead off that they get other people to do their work, and it was one of the thing who characterized them, because the Uk was very intelligent, they knew how to get profits and how to create a good community and togetherness.

Now the situation is very different and the British are fighting their own problems in their own land, they are fighting poorness and crime in their own country. The UK is now filled with other cultures than their own and there is a lot of high status colored, and foreign, but in the past their wasn’t.
For instance I had read a text called “my son is fanatic” the story give me a good picture about UK today, because the story was about a Pakistani family, the family became quickly a part of the culture in UK. And suddenly the son of the family became a Muslim, and the father gets confused, and thought “why did he do that” the father was in shock. I think it show us especially me, how the UK is today, because we know there is many cultures, religion and the all people is different, but it wasn’t the same in the past, for instance we saw a documentary “Documentary on “the British Empire” and the documentary give us a picture of how they integrate the foreign people to their culture. Today it’s not as easy to integrate immigrant, because people have right to join any cultures and religion they want to, it’s not like earlier were people had to join the culture they had in the country they lived in.

I can conclude that the British identity has changed a lot since the 1800, both humanity and sociality.
