Application for Bachman Academy, Tennessee, USA

Hello, my name is Sebastian Milo and I would like to introduce myself and explain why I should be chosen to have a school year in the states. Well I’m a boy from Denmark. I am 15 years old. In my spare time, I play hockey and do bodybuilding. I love USA. I spent some of my summer with a family from Saint Paul in Minnesota when I was 12 years old. I fell in love with the country and all the friendly people. I was only there for 3 weeks and I felt they went to fast. Having a school year in the states is something I have always wanted and I know that I would have the time of my life when I was over there. My English is probably average and maybe even a little bit better. Tennessee would also be a nice place to stay at, since I am very interested in American history like The Civil War, which had some of its major battles on Tennessean land. I don’t like to compliment myself but if I had to choose something good about myself it would be that I work really hard to reach my goals. When I was in 6th and 7th grade, I was a bad student. I never made my homework and I would rarely pay attention during class. In 8th grade, I got my shit together and started working hard towards my goal. I wanted to get straight B’s. A year later, I reached my goal and I even got A’s in some of the classes. So on 1 year I went from being a dumb, skinny boy who liked to joke around in class, to a disciplined young man whose making he’s homework and works out 6 or 7 times a week. If you are looking for a straight A’s student, I am not what you are looking for. However if you are looking for an above average student who can contribute with great sense of humor and a positive mindset, I am what you should be looking for.
