Lindsay had often dreamt about going on safari. Finally, after 30 years it had become reality. Back in Virginia did he normally sleep late but here in Africa the temperature was constantly over 40 degrees and he could rarely sleep till after 7.

Lindsay and two of the carriers were fallen behind but that happened often. They saw the lion immediately: it lay under a tree and was a sleep. Lindsay did slowly put the riffle to the eye. The big moment was here. He noticed nothing but the riffle and the lion. The lion slowly opened one of the eyes and lazily stretched oneself. Lindsay pulled, at that moment, on the trigger. He didn’t se more. He was fainted. The later told him that the lion died immediately. He could now go home with his trophy: the journey had, still, been worth all the hardships.
