Rettelse/tilføjelser til 300-ords stil

Jeg har her en 300-ords stil på engelsk, som handler om: "Write about internet shopping. Consider advantages and disadvantages".

I den anledning, ville jeg høre om nogen havde tid til hurtigt at se den igennem, rette fejl og eventuelt komme med nyttige tilføjelser? ;) Well, here goes:

Shopping on the internet is a relatively new feature for the regular consumer, taking into consideration that the widespread use of internet for us normal citizens was an unimaginable thing just 20 years ago. Therefore, shopping on the internet has been met with skepticism among senior citizens throughout the world. As Chris Battle says himself: “…I was a complete sceptic…” On the contrary, young people born in the age of modern computer technology, embrace the new shopping method as a simple and efficient alternative to the traditional way of shopping.
It never ceases to amaze me how auction websites such as www.eBay.com functions. You bid on an item and wait for the auction to end. You might get outbid, and you can decide whether to place a new bid, or let the item be won by the other auctioneer. When an item is won/bought, the only thing left to do is complete the payment via for instance, using a credit card. Afterwards you can lie back on your chair, and wait for the order to arrive at your address. That’s clearly an advantage for me. Another advantage could be that shopping online opens quite a lot of opportunities, seeing as overseas transactions will run much smoother, and shipping costs are often paid by the seller. Smaller companies benefit from internet shopping as well. A small company might not get noticed in the huge market, but on the internet, it is much easier for the customer to find exactly the product that suits him/her best.
Disadvantages could be fake, suspicious-looking websites, whose sole purpose is to literally rip you off. But with enough cautiousness and common sense those disadvantages can be easily avoided.
Unfortunately, viruses and various other similar things can be obtained from some websites. Those viruses will then attach themselves to your computer, and every time you access your bank account or your e-mail it will automatically register your password, and will be able to steal personal information from you.
