What a girl wants
The film “what a girl wants is about a free-spirited American 19-year-old girl.
Once upon a time, there was a young very cool singer named Libby, who one day decided to go out and see the world. She meets a man. His name was Henry. They fell madly, passionately hopelessly in love, and were married by the chief of a Bedouin tribe. Henry brought her to England to meet his family so they could get married for real. She was not what they were expecting. Henrys father died suddenly. Libby knew there’d be more pressure on him to lead a certain kind of life. He was now Lord Dashwood, and she was no one ideas of a lady. Henrys advisors said to Libby, it was best for him, if she went home. So even though it broke her heart, she knew she had to leave him. Few months later came the little sweetest girl Daphne to the world. She missed to have a father, and every year on her birthdays, she makes the biggest wish in the world. It was that someone else could be there. Daphne and her mother were working with many weddings, where Libby was a singer and Daphne was a cleaner. To everyone of this wedding there was a father and daughter dance. She was always sad when the dance came, because she never has tried it before. Someday she decided to goes to England to establish a relationship with her father, who turns out to be a prominent political figure heavily involved in social customs.
On the trip to England, she meets a wonderful boy. They meet each other for the first time in the hotel she went to, where he was sitting on a table and singing a wonderful song. He has any kinds of jobs. He helps her to find her father. She found hers father’s house and they go away from each other.
Her father has another family. It was the advisors daughter and her daughter.
First of all they could not believe he has a daughter, but she had the papers, and Henry could see she has his eyes. In the beginning the hole seems to be very hard for the father. He was mad, because Daphne’s mother do not had told anything. He could not understand why.
Daphne must attempt to fit in with the social requirements demanded of her, while also getting to know her father, dealing with his territorial other daughter, and maintaining her own self identity.
The stepmother and daughter tried to do anything wrong for Daphne. They want Daphne’s father for them self. The relationship between Daphne and her father seems to go better and they began to look like each other. He though Daphne mother has leavings him. He began to think of her and missed her. One day they all should to a wonderful party (gor et eller andet??), meets Daphne the sweet boy from the trip. They began to go out together.
