I begyndelsen af et nyt århundrede, eller et nyt årtusinde for den sags skyld, er det naturligt, at vi prøver at forestille os, hvad fremtiden vil bringe. Det kan være på det personlige plan, og det kan have at gøre med menneskehedens fremtid.
Det er påfaldende, at så mange artikler om fremtiden drejer sig om sygdom og sundhed: Finder vi en vaccine mod AIDS? Kan vi kurere kræft i fremtiden? Hvordan skal vi udnytte vores viden om den menneskelige genmasse? Bliver vi i stand til at bestemme på forhånd, hvordan vores børn skal være?
En anden stor gruppe af artikler handler om økologi og naturen: Vil forureningen kvæle os, inden vi finder midler imod den? Hvilke energiformer vil være til rådighed? Når vi at forhindre befolkningsbomben i at detonere? Bliver regnskoven reddet?
Alle disse spørgsmål rummer et håb, men i lige så høj grad synes de at være symptomer på en dårlig samvittighed over den måde, vi har behandlet vores klode på.
In the early of a new century, or a new millennium for that matter, It is natural that we try to imagine what the future will bring. It can be on a personal plan, and it may have to do with humanity’s future. It is striking, that so many articles is about illness and health: we find a vaccine against AIDS? Can we cure cancer in the future? how should we make use of our knowledge about humane genome. Are we able to determine in advance how our children should be? Another big group of articles about ecology and nature. Pollution will choke us before we find measures against it? Which energy sources will be available? Reach we to prevent population bomb to detonate. Will rainforest saved? All these question contains a hope, but highly think they to be symptoms of a bad conscience by the way, we have treated our planet in.

It can be on a personal plan and it may have to do with the future og the humanity overall. It is striking that so many articles are about illness and health: Will we find a vaccine against AIDS? Will we be able to cure cancer in the future? How should we make use of our knowledge about humane genome? Are we able to determine in advance how our children should be? Another big group of articles are about ecology and nature. Will the pollution choke us before we find remedies against it? What energy sources will be at our disposal? Will we be in time to prevent the "population-bomb" from detonating? Will the rainforest get saved? All these questions contain a hope but also seem to be symptoms of a bad conscience by the way we have treated our planet in.

Komma er kun, hvis du har en sætning, der egentligt godt kan undværes.
"All these questions are[...]" Du havde skrevet "is" i stedet for "are" hvilket var forkert, da ordet "questions" er i flertal!
Når man spørger på engelsk er der ALTID omvendt ordstilling i modsætning til, når det er almindelige sætninger, som ALTID skal stå med ligefrem ordstilling! = ordet "Will skal altså indsættes foran "pollution" og "we find a vaccine against AIDS"....
