Hvordan oversætter man tysk?

 1) Du tager en ordbog 

2) Du slår ordene op, du ikke forstår 

3) Du har nu oversat teksten 

1) Forstå teksten. Du skal først finde ud hvad teksten handler om. Hvem er afsender/modtager? Hvorfor skriver forfatteren teksten? Hvad for en genre er det? Tempus?

3) Du tager en ordbog

2) Du slår ordene op, du ikke forstår

4) Du har nu oversat teksten

Huske at verberne på tysk tit står til sidst i en sætning, disse skal rykkes længere frem i den danske oversatte sætning.

If a sentence is too difficult to understand/just read it:

I'd recomment to check for the verbs and conjunctions who start subordinate sentences (weil, nachdem, als (zeitlich), da (= weil), bevor, obwohl, dass ,... ). (Especially after kommata)

-> If it is even too difficult to keep them in mind. mark the subordinate clauses and the relative clauses (starting with der/die/das/dem/des/...) as well.
---> Der Mann, der groß ist, ging nach Hause, weil er Hunger hatte.

It's actually easy... just look for Kommata and what word is behind them.

Then you first translate the main sentence (because this works without the others:

Der Mann ging nach Hause. -> the man went home.

And then the other parts:

Der Mann, der groß war, ging nach Hause. -> the man who was big went home.

Der Mann, der groß war, ging nach Hause, weil er Hunger hatte. -> the man who was big went home, since he was hungry

Of course this counts only for complex sentences... though it will be a secure method to translate even the biggest sentence-construction without much confusion. :P

If you can anyways almost understand everything or deal only with easy sentences...

Just check for the Verb and the Subject to be sure that you don't confuse suvject and object... and with the verb... take care to look at first position and in the end of the sentece... at this two spots you will find the verb :P nowhere else.
